The Institute of Marriage and Family Canada (IMFC) officially opened its doors on a blustery winter night in February 2006.  Held at the IMFC office with an evening gala at the Lord Elgin Hotel in Ottawa.  Guest speakers were John Robson, columnist for the Ottawa Citizen, and Elizabeth Marquardt, author of Between Two Worlds: The Inner Lives of Children of Divorce.  Members of Parliament, ambassadors, supporters, members of the press and the general public were in attendance.
