Dr. Jennifer Roback Morse earned a doctorate in economics and spent fifteen years teaching at Yale University and George Mason University. She left her full-time university teaching post in 1996 to move with her family to California. She is now a research fellow at the Acton Institute for the Study of Religion and Liberty.

Patricia Morgan is a senior research fellow at CIVITAS: The Institute for the Study of Civil Society in the UK. She is the author of Family Policy, Family Changes which compares the state of the family in Sweden, Italy and the UK. She has been researching and writing for many years on social policy topics such as adoption, childcare and family structure. She is also the author of The War between the State and the Family, a powerful account of economic disincentives for family stability in the U.K. and the world today.
